Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 29, 2026

Legacy Ventures Group LLC ("Yanly," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Yanly website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the Yanly Service.

By using Yanly, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Service, and certain information provided by third-party services that support Yanly.

Information You Provide

Depending on how you use Yanly, we may collect:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, password, username or display name, and profile photo.

  • Account preferences, including preferences you select within the application.

  • Personal calendar information, including calendar events, dates, times, event titles, descriptions, links, images, locations, or other information you choose to enter into your personal calendar.

  • Access-code information, including an access code, associated calendar year, batch information, redemption date, expiration date, status, and the Yanly account associated with the code.

  • Purchase and subscription information, including information relating to physical calendar purchases and Yanly subscriptions.

  • Customer-support communications, including emails, attachments, and other information you provide when contacting us.

You should use care when entering information into personal calendar events. Calendar information may contain personal or sensitive information depending on what you choose to enter. Yanly does not require you to provide sensitive information in your calendar events.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use Yanly, we may collect certain technical and usage information automatically. Depending on the features and services enabled, this may include information such as:

  • Device type and operating system;

  • App version;

  • Device or application identifiers;

  • IP address;

  • Language or locale;

  • Time zone;

  • Usage and interaction information;

  • Diagnostic and crash information; and

  • Other technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

The specific technical information collected may depend on your device, operating system, and third-party services used by Yanly.

Location and Regional Information

Yanly uses information associated with your device's regional settings to provide local holidays and observances relevant to your location.

Yanly does not currently require you to manually enter your country in the application.

Depending on the technical implementation of this feature and your device settings, regional information may be obtained from your device or other technical information used to determine the appropriate local holiday dataset.

Yanly does not currently require access to your device's precise GPS location for this purpose.

2. Personal Calendar Events

Yanly allows you to create and store your own personal calendar events.

Information you enter into an event may include dates, times, event titles, descriptions, links, images, locations, and other information you choose to provide.

Because users control the information they enter, a calendar event may contain information that is personal or sensitive in nature. For example, an event could reveal information about a medical appointment, work activity, travel plans, family activities, or other private matters.

You should therefore avoid entering sensitive information into a calendar event unless doing so is necessary for your use of the Service.

Personal calendar information is used to provide calendar functionality, reminders, translations, and other features you request.

3. AI-Powered Translation

Yanly uses OpenAI's API services to provide translation functionality within the application.

Information submitted for translation may include text entered by you into your Yanly calendar events. Depending on the functionality used, information associated with the event may also be processed in order to provide the requested translation.

Yanly uses this functionality to provide translations and related language-learning features.

OpenAI's API is a third-party service provider used by Yanly. OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train or improve its models by default, unless the customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI also describes limited retention of API data for purposes such as abuse monitoring under its API data controls.

Yanly will update this Privacy Policy if its use of AI services or the information provided to those services materially changes.

5. Analytics

Analytics information may include information about application usage and interactions with the Service.

The specific information collected through Firebase and other third-party analytics or technology services may depend on the services enabled in Yanly and your device or platform.

If Yanly begins sending marketing emails, we will provide an appropriate method for users to unsubscribe from marketing communications, subject to legally permitted transactional and service-related communications.

8. Payments and Purchases
App Subscriptions

Subscriptions purchased through the Yanly mobile application are processed through the applicable app store, including the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Yanly does not directly process your full payment-card information for mobile-app subscriptions. Payment processing is handled by the applicable app store according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Yanly may receive information necessary to administer your subscription, such as subscription status, subscription dates, and information relating to your access to Premium features.

Physical Calendar Purchases

Yanly also sells physical wall calendars through its website.

Website purchases are processed through the payment and e-commerce services provided through Wix. Yanly may receive information necessary to fulfill your order, such as your name, email address, billing information, shipping information, and purchase information.

Yanly does not intentionally collect or store your complete payment-card number.

9. Access Codes

Some physical Yanly calendars include an access code that provides access to designated Yanly application features or access periods.

When an access code is redeemed, Yanly may associate the code with your Yanly account and maintain records such as:

  • The access code;

  • Calendar year;

  • Batch;

  • Redemption date;

  • Access expiration date;

  • Code status; and

  • The account associated with the code.

Access codes are not transferable.

10. Information We Share

Yanly does not sell or rent personal information.

We may share information with service providers and other third parties when reasonably necessary to operate and provide Yanly, including providers that support:

  • Cloud infrastructure and data storage;

  • AI-powered translation;

  • Email delivery;

  • Push notifications;

  • Payment processing;

  • Website and e-commerce functionality;

  • Customer support;

  • Security and fraud prevention; and

  • Other technical services necessary to operate the Service.

These providers may process information on Yanly's behalf and may have access to information necessary to perform their services.

Examples of third-party services used or expected to be used by Yanly include services provided by Google/Firebase, Apple, Google Play, Wix, Mailgun, OpenAI, and other service providers necessary to operate the Service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Yanly, our users, or others.

11. User-Generated Content

Yanly allows users to create personal calendar events and may allow users to add information such as text, links, images, dates, times, and other event information.

Your personal calendar events are associated with your account and are not intended to be publicly displayed as public profiles or shared with other Yanly users.

You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into your personal calendar.

Yanly does not currently provide a feature for users to communicate directly with other Yanly users.

12. Account Information and Profile Information

To use Yanly, you may create an account using an email address and password or through supported sign-in methods such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In.

Yanly may collect and maintain information associated with your account, including your name, email address, username or display name, and profile photo.

13. Data Retention

Yanly retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, fulfill transactions, provide customer support, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our rights and the security of the Service.

When you request deletion of your Yanly account, Yanly will initiate deletion of the personal information associated with your account, subject to information that we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.

Certain records, such as information necessary for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes, may be retained for an appropriate period.

We will update this section if our data-retention practices materially change.

You may delete your Yanly account through the account-deletion functionality provided within the application.

When you delete your account, Yanly will initiate deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to information that we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.

Deleting your Yanly account may result in the loss of:

  • Personal calendar events;

  • Learning-related information;

  • Account preferences;

  • Access to unused access-code benefits; and

  • Other information associated with your account.

Deleting your Yanly account does not necessarily cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You are responsible for managing and cancelling subscriptions through the applicable app store.

Apple requires apps that support account creation to provide a way for users to initiate account deletion, and Google similarly requires an accessible account-deletion process and deletion of associated user data subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

15. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we maintain about you;

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;

  • Request deletion of personal information;

  • Request information about how your personal information is collected or used;

  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable;

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and

  • Exercise other privacy rights provided by applicable law.

You may submit a privacy-related request by contacting us at:

support@yanly.com

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

16. Security

Yanly takes reasonable measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Because the internet and electronic storage systems cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, we cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorized persons.

We also rely on third-party service providers to provide portions of the Yanly Service. The security practices of those providers are governed by their own policies and contractual obligations.

17. Children's Privacy

Yanly is intended for users 13 years of age and older.

Yanly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have knowingly collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information as required by applicable law.

Parents or guardians who believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Yanly may contact us at support@yanly.com.

Yanly may be used by teenagers and may, in the future, be marketed to schools and educational organizations. If our practices or intended audience change in a way that results in Yanly being directed toward children under 13, we will review and update our privacy practices and applicable disclosures before doing so.

18. Third-Party Services and Links

Yanly relies on third-party services to provide certain features and functionality.

Third-party services may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

These services may include, among others:

  • Apple;

  • Google and Google Play;

  • Firebase;

  • Wix;

  • Mailgun; and

  • OpenAI.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services that you use in connection with Yanly.

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice when appropriate.
